We had a very busy (and creative) week this week! Finger painting (of which Jimmy refuses to use his fingers), making a friend board, playing with new soccer ball, playing on Dad's
ITouch (intense), and playing with Moses - the latest addition to the
Ayer family.
We had the Ayers over for dinner on the night a friend from Jimmy's office happened to stop by with very fresh king crab (caught and steamed within hours). Notice Ella's face. While she wouldn't eat it, she was all about taking it apart. It was delicious! Jimmy decided he needed to practice blowing out candles one night - which of course required a cake...so he had his first baking experience (
although his face says - seriously mom, you act like this is the first time I've baked a cake). It's been especially cold outside so he enjoyed playing in dry rice and beans (who wouldn't?). And as always, a laundry basket is really all a kid needs to have a blast.
