Practicing for Brothers.......

Kids this age LOVE a stroller their size to push. We found these blue ones and had to order them (funny how doll size ones cost more than the regular umbrella strollers!). Collin and Jimmy had a blast pushing them around. And then Jimmy face planted on the concrete. Party over. Not sure if it was his new boots or the high speed he was pushing the stroller...possible both.

Spring Has Sprung!

It is officially the first day of Spring and Jimmy didn't need to be told. When we got home at lunch, he spent a full hour running, skipping, jumping.....he just could not contain himself! Take note that his mouth is open in almost all the pics. He did not stop talking. Between the beautiful flowers blooming, the cool breeze and warm sun, this kid was ecstatic! We also pulled our swing from the back patio to the front yard (i know, classy) but we love it! Come 5:30ish friends come by for a chat. Everyone says living here is like Mayberry.....just half a world away.... and instead of Aunt B's pickles....we have kimchi. :)

Who Knew?????

Who knew the tiles we purchased to make play areas softer would be one of the most fun toys purchased??? Jimmy and Colin (and all the neighborhood) have a blast with these. It's amazing the things kids come up with playing in these!

We were watching Colin this night and I had gone by the PX to grab Jimmy a short sleeve shirt or two since warm weather showed up and I was unprepared. Colin's latest kick is any automobile and the color orange. As luck would have it, the available shirt was.....a bulldozer....in what other color but orange! (Serious Divine intervention coming from our PX). So, not to miss this opportunity, I grabbed Colin a shirt too. When I arrived home and showed the boys, I had underestimated Colin's passion for autos and the color orange. He threw his hands to his face, gasped, and immediately went to taking his shirt off. Not to be out done, Jimmy had to wear his too. Hence the reason they are dressed a like.

No slowing down........

Despite my desire to sit and do nothing until this second baby comes, Jimmy has other plans. In his preparation for his little brother, Jimmy is making sure the new double stroller is in proper working order. Not only has he tested the seats out but he also made sure the undercarriage exceeds weight standards. We also picked up Colin to go for a spin. Both boys agreed the Bob is a cool ride! Other activities this week include try on all the shoes in the house and making a birthday cake. It's not his birthday so we celebrated the birthday of everyone in the neighborhood we could think of. Jimmy did the pouring and stirring and of course the sprinkles. Candles were his idea too.

Fun for the week.

The Ayers and Jimmy watching a movie. Note the little black furry thing in the middle is not a stuffed animal. It's Moses watching right along. The pic of me is recent. No twins in there....maybe a giant. And Jimmy's favorite thing to do with Dad - flip over his head and down his back.

Fun at the Ayers

Julie took this pictures at her house yesterday. Jimmy had a blast. Ella kept making him laugh. He, Caleb and Maija disappeared only to be found reading books together. And Jimmy loved the kid's new bunk beds. He kept climbing on the lower bunk and said he was going to take a nap. He stayed under the covers for 15 minutes just hanging out.

Dotori

We went to a cool restaurant the other night...one of those "only in Korea" types. Jimmy loved the swing. Lots of other cool stuff (like American style rolls served before the meal with what was supposed to be sweet butter but I suspect it was melted ice cream). It was located at a golf course way out in nowhere. Across the pond was a golf range where you hit balls.....in to the water. No idea how they retrieve them but it was a nice set up. The other pics are - Jimmy hanging out in boxes and playing in my makeup bag.

Friends and Business Partners

Not only to Jimmy and Mijia love hanging out together, but they've found they make great business partners. What's the biz you may ask? Professional TV decorators (specializing in stickers). You can tell by the telephone pictures, their demand is high. And the hairdoo on Mijia is new. She loves to show off her new "pone-KNEE".

Playing Boat with Dad

Jimmy's new fav pastime is playing "boat" with Dad. It's quite the workout but Jimmy LOVES it!
