Turning Circles

Jimmy just started this yesterday. He loves spinning in circles. It's anybody's guess which direction he'll dizzily stagger off towards!

This all started after dinner this evening. Once again, I think jimmy was the only one "playing"...and boy was he ever. I could listen to this all day long!

First Ever Hendrix Family 5K!

It was a BEAUTIFUL spring day in Deagu. Perfect for our family to take part in a 5K on this Easter weekend. Participants included our friends the Fiscus family along with lots of friends from the community and PWOC.

It was a grueling course (okay - maybe my training left something to be desired....and yes, it would have helped if Lara and I didn't talk so much and worried more about breathing....but what fun would that be?) but the scenery, fresh air (at least laking in yellow sand), and company made up for any pain.

Jimmy (4th) was tuckered by the end of the run....but little Colin said he was up for a 10K (it's in his genes - he's planning a marathon next year).

Jimmy has this funny game he plays with the dog. He walks around with something large in his hand...kind of chasing the dog but more than anything hoping the dog will chase him. Most of the time Stowey is not....but Jimmy thinks she is. It's the anticipation that kills! (By the way - he is not hurt at the end when he falls.)

My New Train!

Jimmy loves his new train desk! It's the perfect size for him....only problem....it's also perfect for climbing! Shortly after the train arrived in our home, it was put away until it's not a head injury waiting to happen!
